The Dell Streak sure keeps bringing us more and more surprises — unlike most Android devices that lack the Bluetooth HID profile, here it is paired up with our wireless keyboard and mouse (Apple’s Wireless Keyboard and Magic Mouse, specifically) without any driver hacks. Streak Smart, who made this discovery, had the same experience as us with its iGo Stowaway keyboard and an unknown mouse — typing was as smooth as cutting butter with a hot knife, but the mouse couldn’t do much due to the lack of pointer and scrolling support. It need no introduction to A.R. Rahman who has crossed all the boundaries of music. There is no doubt, he is truly the “Mozart of Madras” and aptly can be told as “Mozart of East”. A person who had started his journey by composing jingles and scores for television features went on to win two Oscars and has sold more than 150 million copies of his work.

In the year 1991 he had composed music for the film “Roja” which had won him nation wide accolades. The movie had won him National Award which was the first in the history of a debutant music director. After that he went on to win three more national awards for his compositions which is also a history. In the year 2001 Rahman started his international journey by composing a musical for “Bombay Dreams”. The tracks featured in the movies “The Lord of War”, “Inside Man”, “ The Accidental husband” and recently the score for the stage production of “ The Lord of the Rings” and the music for Hollywood productions “Elizabeth – The Golden Age” and “Warriors of Heaven & Earth” made him further noticeable internationally.

With the extraordinary success of “Slumdog Millionaire” which had won him two Oscars for best score and best song. He has won over 15 awards internationally and nationally including the Golden Globe and the Bafta. Rahman has also been bestowed with ‘Padma Shri’, one of India’s highest national civilian honors. He has also been conferred with honorary doctorates from the Aligarh Muslim University and the Middlesex University.
